The Penang Down Syndrome Association (PDSA) is a registered non-profit organization formed in 1999 to meet the needs of parents and children with Down Syndrome. In conjunction with PDSA’s 20^th anniversary on 17 November 2019, an open day was held to raise awareness about Down Syndrome and introduce the association’s activities to the general public.

RUMC sponsored the food and beverages for the event. 13 of our students volunteered to help co-ordinate the games stations designed specifically for children with Down Syndrome and take on the role of being emcee for the performances by these children. The event was a huge success with more than 100 people participating.
