Director of Research

Possess a PhD in a relevant discipline, preferably in a medical, biomedical, health sciences or research-related field.

Have substantial experience in research leadership, strategic planning and research management within an academic or research institution.

Demonstrate a proven track record in securing research grants, publishing high-quality research, and establishing strategic research collaborations.

Possess strong knowledge of research governance, ethics, integrity, quality assurance and regulatory requirements.

Demonstrate excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build research capacity and drive institutional research excellence.

Lecturer / Senior Lecturer of Medical Informatics

Possess a minimum Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Bioinformatics.

A PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Bioinformatics would be an advantage.

At least 3 years of working experience in the related discipline.

Proven track record in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in Medical Informatics.

The successful applicant will be appointed at the level of Lecturer or Senior Lecturer commensurate with their postgraduate qualifications and experience.
Lecturer / Senior Lecturer / Associate Professor of Surgery

Possess an MBBS or medical qualification recognised by the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) and a recognised postgraduate or specialist qualification in Surgery or a related discipline.

At least 3 years of working experience in the related discipline.

Proven track record in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in Surgery.

Experience of teaching at an Irish medical school would be an advantage.

The successful applicant will be appointed at the level of Lecturer, Senior Lecturer or Associate Professor, commensurate with their postgraduate qualifications and experience. Malaysian applicants must have valid MMC and APC registration and be registered with the NSR when applying for this position.
Lecturer / Senior Lecturer / Associate Professor of Orthopaedics
- Possess an MBBS or medical qualification recognized by the Malaysian Medical Council and a Postgraduate qualification in the respective discipline or equivalent.
- Proven track record in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and research.
- Experience of teaching at an Irish medical school would be an advantage.
- The successful applicant will be appointed at the level of Lecturer or Senior Lecturer or Associate Professor commensurate with his/her postgraduate qualifications and experience.
Head of Department of Medicine
- Possess an MBBS or medical qualification recognized by the Malaysian Medical Council and a Postgraduate qualification in the respective discipline or equivalentProven track record in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and research

ACADEMIC APPOINTMENTS (Full-Time OR Adjunct/Part-Time) IN SURGERY, MEDICINE, PSYCHIATRY, ORTHOPAEDICS, FAMILY MEDICINE AND OBSTETRICS & GYNAECOLOGY
- Possess an MBBS or medical qualification recognised by the Malaysian Medical Council and Postgraduate qualification in the respective discipline or equivalent, with NSR certification.
- Proven track record in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and research.
- Past teaching experience beneficial.
- Applicants must have valid MMC and APC registration with Medical Indemnity when applying.
