The Career Hub assists RUMC medical students in navigating their career paths by providing guidance resources, and networking opportunities to help students navigate career pathways, including electives applications, residency/internship applications, and alternative career options in healthcare.

The Career Hub offers a range of services, including:
- Career counselling and guidance on medical pathways
- Support for licensing exams (e.g., USMLE, AMC, etc.)
- Assistance with internship and residency applications
- CV and personal statement reviews
- Documentation supporting Internship/ Electives application
Upcoming Initiatives & Plans
We are planning to introduce new initiatives, such as:
- More structured support for licensing exam preparation
- Increased engagement with international medical training programs
- Expansion of internship and residency placement assistance
- Partnerships with medical institutions and hospitals
- Career talks and networking sessions with medical professionals
Partnerships & Collaborations
We collaborate with Nugrahan Sdn Bhd / Kaplan to help students secure internships and residency placements in the U.S.
