The Intensive Coaching Week for Year 1 trainees (Cohort 2024) took place virtually on 10th and 17th – 19th September 2025. The sessions were attended by all trainees from the 2024 cohort. The Scheme Directing Team arranged a series of insightful sessions featuring external speakers from various hospitals and health clinics, who shared their expertise across a wide range of topics, including:
- Child with Special Needs
- Evidence-Based Medicine
- Breaking the Silence: Everyone Can Treat Erectile Dysfunction
- Approaches to Substance Use in Primary Care
- Approach to Learning Disability
- Traditional and Complementary Medicine
- Pain Management in Primary Care
- Approach to Common Skin Disorders in Primary Care
- A Collaborative Approach for Rheumatological Disorders Between Primary Physicians and Rheumatologists
These topics were carefully selected to enhance trainees’ clinical knowledge and serve as valuable preparation for thier future examinations.
