On 23rd June 2025, MInTFM conducted a virtual briefing session for Hospital Tengku Ampuan Afzan, Kuantan, and Hospital Sultanah Nur Zahirah, Kuala Terengganu. The session was specifically tailored for Heads of Department, focusing on an overview of the MInTFM program, the responsibilities of supervisors in supporting trainees, and a dedicated Q&A segment to address any queries related to this specialist training program. This initiative aims to ensure the smooth and effective implementation of the newly introduced parallel training program across the East Coast region of Peninsular Malaysia.
The session was led by Dr. Paula Greally, MInTFM National Clinical Director, and Datin Dr. Nazrila Hairizan Nasir, MInTFM Deputy National Clinical Director, both of whom provided valuable insights and guidance to support hospital leadership in this transition. MInTFM extends its appreciation to all participants for their engagement and commitment to enhancing the training environment for future Family Medicine specialists.
