Mr
Muhammad Akmal Bin Ramlee
Department of Medical Informatics
Lecturer
Muhammad Akmal Bin Ramlee is a lecturer with a background in computational science and mathematical modeling. He holds a Bachelor of Computer Science (Honours) in Computational Science and a Master of Science specialising in computational modeling, with a focus on simulation and modeling. His research interests lie in the mathematical and computational modeling of biological systems, particularly cancer cell invasion. He has published work on three-dimensional (3D) modeling of invadopodia formation using free boundary problem approaches, incorporating Stefan conditions, level set methods, and enthalpy-based diffusion models. Akmal is actively developing his research profile in computational biology while contributing to teaching and academic activities within his department.
Conducted research on mathematical and computational modeling of cancer cell invasion in collaboration with international researcher. Currently a lecturer at Department of Medical Informatics, RUMC, contributing to teaching and developing research expertise in computational modeling and simulation.
