In recent weeks, Penang Hospital Blood Bank has been extending the opening hours of the blood bank to encourage the public to replenish the low supply of blood in the hospital. We have decided to join forces together with the Blood Bank by encouraging students to stopover at the Blood Bank after classes.

On 30th July 2024, several RUMC students decided to spend their lunch hour at the Blood Bank however, some were turned away due to health concerns. The hospital was pleased with the huge turnout of RUMC students.

A big thanks to those who managed to donate successfully. For those who were not able to do so recently, do not fret. We plan on organising more donation drives in the future.
